RACHELLE HARRIS
HEAD COACH
Coach Harris is in her 6th year of coaching high school softball. This is her 1st year as Head Coach at Conroe High School, after being Conroe's Varsity Assistant Coach for the past 2 years. Prior to coming to Conroe HS, she was the Head Coach at Klein Forest High School and Austin High School. Coach Harris played softball at the Division 1 collegiate level at both Iona University and Mississippi Valley State University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and a minor in Criminal Justice. Afterwards, she attended the New York Film Academy in Manhattan, NY to receive her accreditation in Acting For Film. She also played professional softball in Hamburg, Germany and Adelaide, Australia. Coach Harris is excited to continue to be a part of the Tiger Softball program!
DERRICK TAYLOR
ASSISSTANT COACH
Derrick Taylor is entering his 18 season as a coach this year. He spent his first four seasons as assistant coach at Bellaire High School where he worked with hitters and outfielders. He has been the Head Coach at Westbury High School, Sharpstown High School, Lutheran North High School, and Head Softball Coach at Waltrip High School for one year. He played his college Baseball at McNeese State University for two years, and Southern University for two years where he earned a BS in Journalism. A 2003 Spring Training Invitee of the San Diego Padres. Derrick is so excited as he has moved over to the girls side to have the opportunity to be a part of the Conroe Softball Family after 5yrs with the Conroe Baseball Program. He brings lots of energy and experience to the program as a varsity assistant coach.
BROOKE GRANADOS
ASSISSTANT COACH
Brooke Granados is in her second year coaching softball and volleyball at Conroe High School after having coached 8 years at Peet Junior High. At Peet, she coached volleyball, basketball, track & field, and soccer. In 2021, she led her 7th grade basketball team to a District Championship, as well as a close 2nd place finish in 2018. She has also coached multiple athletes to District Championships in high jump. Brooke is a graduate of Conroe High School where she played volleyball and was captain of the softball team. She was also an All-American mascot while at Conroe. Brooke loves having the opportunity to coach at her alma mater, and build the Conroe softball program. She has a BS in Kinesiology with a minor in History from Mississippi State University.
